Billy found two mugs and got them down. He'd started drinking his coffee black sometime in basic, figuring he should get used to it. He poured some for himself and for Frank, then leaned back on the counter near the stove so he could watch him cook.
"Yeah, I don't have a lot of high hopes regarding what makes up our calorie intake over there," he said with a wince.
"But you can find other ways to treat me nice." He hid a smile behind his first sip of coffee.
